Katy Perry Gets Day Named After Her
The New Orleans City Council has named a day after Katy Perry. From now on, March 1 will be Katy Perry Day in the American city.

The singer reacts perplexed and in disbelief to the honor. “Oh no, do I have to show my tits or something?”
Perry also shares a photo in which she poses with a framed certificate. March 1 is officially Katy Perry Day in New Orleans, from now until eternity, the singer writes.
The forty-year-old Perry performed in New Orleans last weekend in honor of the carnival celebration Mardi Gras.
In 2022, the singer also had a day named after her in Las Vegas, where she gave a concert series at the time.
