Grande broke out years ago in the Nickelodeon series Victorious, but before that, she starred in the musical 13: The Musical on Broadway.

I really thought I would be a Broadway girl forever.

That was the dream: I would do eight shows a week in New York, and then maybe make music on the side.

Grande went on to have worldwide hits with songs like Into You, 7 Rings and Side to Side.

There are definitely parts of me in those songs, the singer says.

But because it got so big, it became more and more distant from me. And in the end, I’m just a girl from Boca who loves art.

The singer appeared last year as the good witch Glinda in the musical film Wicked.

It’s been such a deeply healing gift to disappear into this character, to take off one mask and put on another.

Grande received a Oscar nomination.

After Wicked, the singer announced that she would not release any new music for the time being and would focus on her work as an actress.

However, a new version of her album Eternal Sunshine, which was released last year, may be released soon.

Grande confirmed in January that there are additional songs for this album that have yet to be released.
