Katy Perry has been ordered to pay €6,001 for filming a music video without a permit in a protected nature reserve in the Balearic Islands.

The American singer filmed scenes for her song “Lifetimes” in the dunes of Espalmador, a small island near Ibiza.
According to authorities, Perry’s team did not have permission to shoot there, reports the Spanish news agency Europa Press.

Authorities consider the violation serious but only issued a fine because no permanent damage was found in the area.

The video shows Perry jumping off a cliff, dancing on the beach, and partying in Ibiza and Formentera, among other things.

The song was released on her album 143 in September of last year.
