Delta Goodrem Married In Malta
Delta Goodrem has married her partner Matthew Copley. The Australian singer and the guitarist tied the knot in a 12th-century cathedral in Malta. The couple shared images of their wedding for the first time on Thursday.
The forty-year-old Goodrem wrote on Instagram that it was a fairytale day. “It was more magical than we could ever have imagined,” the singer said.
We said ‘yes’ under the Maltese sky in a family wedding that came to life like a fairytale. We cherish every moment: the love, the laughter, the happy tears, and dancing until the sun came up.”
Goodrem and Copley have been together for over seven years. The guitarist, who is part of her band, proposed last year during a trip to Malta.
The singer achieved international fame in 2002 with her hit “Born to Try” and also achieved worldwide success with the song “Lost Without You.” In Australia, she became known for her role in the soap opera “Neighbours.” She has released seven albums, the most recent of which was released in 2021.
