Billy Joel’s Wife Grateful For Support
Alexis Roderick Joel has responded to the outpouring of support her family has received on Instagram after Billy Joel was diagnosed with a neurological condition. She calls the responses an outpouring of love and support.
We are grateful for the wonderful care and quick diagnosis we have received, writes Roderick Joel. Bill is loved by so many, and to us he is a father and husband who is central to our world.
She expresses hope for the singer’s recovery. “We look forward to seeing you in the future.”
Last week it was announced that Joel has Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH), a condition that affects hearing, vision and balance, among other things. The 76-year-old artist has therefore cancelled all his performances for the time being.
The couple has been together since 2009 and married in 2015. The two have two daughters together.
