Taylor Swift will not have to testify in the lawsuit between actors Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively. Baldoni has withdrawn the subpoena.

Baldoni had filed a defamation lawsuit against Lively, who subsequently accused him of sexual harassment. A spokesperson for Lively told People that Baldoni has now withdrawn the lawsuit.

Tensions between the actors had risen during the filming of the film It Ends With Us, which was released last year. According to Baldoni, Lively rewrote parts of the script and allegedly used her husband Ryan Reynolds and girlfriend Swift to pressure him.

A spokesperson for Swift already said last week that she had nothing to do with the making of the film.

She only saw the film weeks after its premiere and traveled around the world in 2023 and 2024 for the biggest tour in history. Swift’s only contribution to the film is the use of her song My Tears Ricochet.

It is not yet clear why Baldoni withdrew the summons.
