Carlos Santana Becomes Unwell Just Before Performance

Mexican guitarist Carlos Santana fell ill on Tuesday before a performance in Texas. The 77-year-old artist was rushed to hospital and will make up for the show later.

Santana suddenly felt unwell while preparing for his performance at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio. He probably had symptoms of dehydration.

As a precaution and with Santana’s health in mind, the decision to postpone the show was the wisest one, his manager told the Daily Mail.

He emphasized that Santana is doing well and that the guitarist wants to resume his tour soon.

The show in San Antonio was part of Santana’s American Oneness Tour.

A performance in Sugar Land (Texas) is planned for Wednesday and shows in the state of Oklahoma (Thackerville and Tulsa) are scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
