Perez Hilton has experienced a lot of shame in his battle against his food addiction. The 47-year-old blogger still finds it mentally difficult to deal with food.

He has lost a lot of weight in recent years. But my relationship with food is that of a fat person. If you relapse, it gets worse and worse.

According to himself, that relapse is always lurking. Hilton finds it extra difficult around the holidays. At one point I had gained 11 kilos and then I thought: oh my God!

According to the American, an eating addiction is a vicious circle of shame. Then you think: I’ve already eaten so much, I might as well continue.

Hilton believes that this shame should not exist. Life is short.
