The two-part documentary Billy Joel: And So It Goes will premiere this summer at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

The documentary will then be released on streaming service HBO Max.

For nearly 25 years, the Tribeca Festival has celebrated artists who give New York its heart and soul.

We are thrilled to honor Billy Joel on opening night, said co-founder and film producer Jane Rosenthal in a statement. It’s the perfect way to kick off this year’s celebration of creativity and inspiration.

Billy Joel: And So It Goes chronicles the life and music of the Piano Man and Uptown Girl singer. The documentary features never-before-seen footage, including special performances, private footage and interviews.

The Tribeca Film Festival runs from June 4 to 15.
