Blake Lively Expands Defamation Suit Against Justin Baldoni

Blake Lively expanded her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, director and co-star in the film It Ends with Us, on Tuesday evening. The actress now also accuses him of defamation.

Lively filed her first lawsuit late last year.

Lively’s lawyers claim that the new version contains considerably more evidence and confirmation of her original claims, American media report.

The lawsuit has been expanded to include defamation because Baldoni and his team have repeatedly shared false statements about the actress since Lively’s previous accusation, Lively’s lawyers claim.

The actress previously sued Baldoni for sexual harassment.

Baldoni in turn sued Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds for extortion and defamation. Baldoni is demanding 400 million dollars (approximately 383 million euros) from them.

Lively’s lawyers claim that the new lawsuit contains previously undisclosed communications between Lively and, among others, numerous other witnesses to alleged misconduct by Baldoni.

The new document also names other women who have had similar experiences with Baldoni as Lively.

The women are not named.

They are reportedly willing to testify when the trial is scheduled to begin in New York next March.
