Ewan McGregor Files For Restraining Order
A judge has granted a restraining order filed by Ewan McGregor against a woman who has been stalking him since 2022.
The woman is sending threatening messages to the actor and his family. In them, she writes that she wants a child from him.
According to TMZ, the woman sent more than 500 emails with “confused and threatening messages”.
According to the court documents, the woman is convinced that she is a rejected mistress of McGregor and that actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead stole him from her.
The actor is married to Winstead.
McGregor had had enough when the woman showed up at his ex-wife Eve Mavrakis’ door on Christmas Eve.
The Scottish actor, known for Moulin Rouge!, Trainspotting and Star Wars, was celebrating Christmas there with his ex, children and current wife.
The stalker was turned away from the gate of the house by security.
After this incident, the intensity of her threats worsened.
Due to the contact ban, the woman is no longer allowed to come near the actor, his wife, ex-wife and children or to contact them in any way.
