NFL Icon Tom Brady Has..?
Tom Brady has had a clone made of his pit bull Lua, who died in December 2023. The dog was a housemate of the American football legend and his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen.
“I love my animals. They mean the world to me and my family,” Brady said in a statement from the biotechnology company involved in the process.
“The company gave my family a second chance with a clone of our beloved dog.” At the time of Lua’s death, Brady and Bündchen were already grieving their loss. “Forever in our hearts,” Brady wrote on Instagram at the time.
Bündchen and Brady, who separated in 2022, adopted the dog during their marriage. Brady regularly posted about the animal on social media.
Brady won seven Super Bowls during his career, making him the most successful American football player of all time.
He retired from professional football in 2023.
