Cher Doesn’t Think It’s A Problem
Cher doesn’t mind that her boyfriend is forty years younger, she tells CBS Mornings. The 79-year-old singer is in a relationship with 39-year-old music producer Alexander Edwards.
Cher, who is currently working on her new album, says they have “a lot of fun” together. “He just says, ‘You know, you’re getting older, but your mind is still young.'”
She emphasizes that their dynamic works well because they “laugh all the time.” “I think he’s gorgeous,” she says. “He’s really talented. He’s one of the most talented people I’ve ever met.”
Cher, on the other hand, isn’t as thrilled about getting older. “I hate it. It doesn’t make me any wiser.”
Cher and Edwards were photographed holding hands for the first time in November 2022. The singer is known for frequently dating men who are much younger.
