Kim Kardashian Divorced Ye Because
Kim Kardashian says her ex-husband Ye‘s public sharing of personal information about her and their family was “the last straw” in their relationship. The reality star revealed this on the podcast Call Her Daddy.
“There were a lot of things I didn’t want to deal with. I didn’t like anyone saying bad things about my kids, my grandma, or my aunts,” says Kardashian, who has four children with Ye. “If someone does that, we shouldn’t be together. Venturing all that personal stuff out like that.”
During their relationship, Ye shared with the media, among other things, that Kardashian considered having an abortion when she was pregnant for the first time.
Kardashian and Ye married in 2014. Eight years later, the reality star filed for divorce. According to the 44-year-old American, there were other things she wasn’t happy about during her marriage to the rapper.
“Sometimes you’d come home and there would be five Lamborghinis on the doorstep.” She says they would all be “gone the next day if he had another episode.”
In 2016, Ye announced that he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and had been admitted for treatment. He later claimed that this diagnosis was incorrect and that he actually has autism.
“You never knew what would happen when you woke up, and that’s a very unsettling feeling,” Kardashian says of her relationship with Ye.
“The lack of stability was a big issue.”
