Mick Jagger’s Girlfriend Confirms Engagement After Three Years
Melanie Hamrick, Mick Jagger’s 37-year-old girlfriend, has confirmed their engagement after three years. Media reported in 2023 that the couple had gotten engaged, but they have not spoken out about it themselves until now.
We’ve been engaged for about two or three years now, the ex-ballerina tells the magazine Paris Match. The couple is in no hurry to get married.
Maybe we’ll get married, maybe not. We’re very happy with the life we have now. I would be very afraid to change anything about that.
Hamrick and 81-year-old Jagger met backstage at a Rolling Stones concert in Tokyo in 2014.
Two years later, the couple welcomed a son, Jagger’s eighth child, with a total of five women. We support each other and are there for each other, and we try to make sure we’re both happy. That’s all that matters, says Jagger’s fiancée.
The Rolling Stones singer has been engaged twice before. He was married to Bianca Pérez Mora Macías from 1971 to 1978. He was married to Jerry Hall from 1990 to 1999.
