Little Mix Singer Jesy Nelson Recovers From Surgery
British singer Jesy Nelson has undergone surgery to resolve a pregnancy complication.
The surgery went well and the former Little Mix member is currently recovering in hospital.
Earlier this month, Nelson, who is expecting twins, revealed she has a rare condition. The 33-year-old British singer has twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS).
Identical twins exchange blood in the womb, but TTTS is when more blood flows from one baby to the other, which can cause problems.
We are still in hospital and I am currently recovering, but we have some great news, says Nelson, who appears in the Instagram video with her partner Zion Foster.
The TTTS has gone, the surgery was successful and it is incredible. We are so lucky to have such amazing doctors.
Nelson is not allowed to leave hospital yet, because there is a high risk of her waters breaking.
It is still too early in the pregnancy to give birth. So we’re really like, please stay seated for a little while.
