Ozzy Osbourne has great difficulty walking due to health problems. In 2003, the singer was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
“I keep complaining about how I can’t walk and how I can’t do this or that,” the 76-year-old singer said on the radio show Ozzy Speaks. “But you know what I thought about during the holidays?
Despite all my complaining, I’m still here. There are so many friends and acquaintances who are no longer here.”
On Wednesday, the metal band Black Sabbath, of which Osbourne is the frontman, announced that it will return to the original line-up one more time this year.
The group will perform at a benefit concert in Birmingham on July 5.
It will be the first time in twenty years that the original line-up, with Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward, will be on stage.
The show will raise money for various charities, including Cure Parkinson’s and the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
